Over the past half century, the adidas Superstar has taken on a multitude of forms ranging from the classic and familiar, to one-off special editions. As part of the shelltoed icon's 50th anniversary celebrations, alternative subculture veterans Pleasures pay their own inimitable form of tribute to a fondly remembered, limited edition Superstar. 

In 2006, as part of a wide ranging celebration of the adicolor range, adidas released a classic white Superstar with a unique feature, clear three stripe branding designed to house interchangeable plastic inserts, allowing for customized color combinations. 

Pleasures recreate this concept, with a black upper, red Pleasures branding, and interchangeable stripes featuring wild colors and patterns, providing a more alternative suited interpretation.
