They call it athleisure. Entire chains of stores carry nothing else. You see it at the coffee shop. On the sidelines and in the stands at your youngsters' soccer games. At the moment, I'm seeing it in Kansas City, from my window seat at the Classic Cup on the Plaza.

This new phenomenon is seen everywhere (except possibly, the gym).

Go for a run? No. Head to the gym? Not a chance. Visit a pilates class? Hell hasn't frozen over, yet.

Bike ride? Not today. I am, however, properly attired if I have a change of heart.
