Inspired by the (once again upcoming) Tokyo Olympics, the Air Jordan 3 adds some subtle stylistic flourishes to its classic form. A tumbled, white leather upper makes for a familiar launching point for a perforated, red leather ankle collar and a translucent Jumpman stacked over the traditional Nike Air logo at the heel to play off of. The Jordan 3’s signature ‘elephant’ print covers both sides of the court when it comes to classic and contemporary; the unmistakable print is rendered in denim, as a nod to the renowned Japanese industry.
